For Webflow
Webflow video hosting and galleries for every client site.
Upload your client's photos and videos to Dropl, paste one Code Embed, and you're done. When the media changes, the site updates without you reopening the Designer.

Webflow is great for the site. Less so for the media.
The same three things come up on almost every client project.
No home for real video
The Video element only plays links from hosts like YouTube and Vimeo. The only place you can upload a file is the Background video element: under 30 MB, and no sound.
Every photo swap is a Designer session
Your client texts you new photos. You open the project, swap the images, check the breakpoints, and publish again, for a five-minute change.
A new media bill for every launch
A separate video account per client, or a host that charges per site, turns every new project into another line item to track and pass on.
What you get
Video and galleries that live outside the Designer
Your Webflow layout stays as you built it. The media inside it is managed in Dropl, by you or your client.
A gallery with video, not just photos
Mix photos and videos in one showcase. Pick a grid or collage layout, add category filter tabs, drag to reorder, and open anything in a lightbox.
An ad-free player that matches the build
Set the player colors, the play button position, and which controls show. No ads, no suggested videos, and the small Dropl logo can be turned off on the Dropl plan.
Clients upload from their phone
Invite your client to their own portal. They add photos and videos from their phone and only ever see their own workspace, not your Webflow project.
Replace a video, keep the embed
Upload a new cut and the embed on the live site plays it. No editing the Code Embed and no republishing.
Plays only where it should
Make a video public, unlisted, private, or password-protected, and limit embeds to your client's domains so they won't play anywhere else.
One bill for every Webflow client
$15/month flat for unlimited client sites and team members, with 100 GB storage and 500 GB monthly delivery, pooled across every client site.
Setup
Add it to Webflow in a few minutes
There's no app to install. It's a short snippet you paste into a Code Embed element.
- 1
Upload the media to Dropl
Create a client site, then a showcase. Drop in photos and videos, choose the layout, and drag them into order. For a single video, upload it on its own.
- 2
Copy the embed code
In the showcase, find Embed on a website and click Copy embed code.
- 3
Paste it into a Code Embed element
In the Webflow Designer, open the Add panel and drag a Code Embed element where the gallery or video should go. Paste the code, then save and close.
- 4
Publish and check the live page
The Designer shows a placeholder for the script, so preview or publish to see the gallery. If you turn on embed protection, add the client's domain and the exact webflow.io staging address under Website domains.
Webflow's Code Embed element needs an active Site plan or a Core, Growth, Agency, or Freelancer Workspace. Dropl works the same on any of them.

Frequently asked questions
Can Webflow host video?
Not in the usual sense. Webflow's Video element plays links from hosts like YouTube and Vimeo, and you can't upload a video file to use in it. The Background video element takes uploaded files under 30 MB, but they play without sound. For video with sound and controls, host it elsewhere and embed it. Dropl hosts videos up to 20 GB each, with adaptive streaming and an ad-free player.
How do I add a gallery with video to Webflow?
Create a showcase in Dropl and add photos and videos to it. Copy the embed code, then paste it into a Code Embed element in the Webflow Designer and publish. The layout, order, and categories are set in Dropl, so later changes show on the live site without republishing.
Does it work on Webflow CMS template pages?
Yes. Put the Code Embed element on the template page. To show a different gallery or video for each CMS item, add a plain text field that holds the showcase or video ID and insert that field into the embed code. Webflow lets you use CMS fields inside a Code Embed.
Will a Dropl embed slow my Webflow site down?
The script loads asynchronously, so it doesn't block the page. Photos are resized and lazy loaded, embeds reserve their space so the layout doesn't jump, and the player doesn't download any video until someone presses play.
Do I need a paid Webflow plan?
For the Code Embed element, yes. Webflow offers it on sites with an active Site plan, or in a Core, Growth, Agency, or Freelancer Workspace. Dropl itself starts with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required.
How much does it cost to use Dropl on all my Webflow sites?
$15/month flat, with unlimited client sites and team members. That includes 100 GB storage and 500 GB monthly delivery, pooled across every client site. If you need more room, add a capacity pack: +100 GB storage and +500 GB delivery for $10/month per capacity pack. Your bill only changes when you change it.
What happens if a client's video gets more views than expected?
Photos always keep loading. Videos keep playing up to 110% of your monthly delivery, then pause until the next billing month or until you add a capacity pack. You can turn on automatic packs in Billing if you'd rather videos never pause. If storage fills up, only new uploads pause.
